New Sharing Features: 20+ new services added

One of the most requested features from our community was the ability to share your dashboard and content to more services. Until now, you could share content via Twitter, Facebook, Email or to another dashboard… but more is better. And we agree.

Introducing our newly redesigned sharing features:

  • 20+ Ways to Share: Built-in options to share to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Reddit, Linkedin, Viadeo, Pocket, Evernote, Save as PDF,, Delicious, Buffer, Yammer, Instapaper, Flipboard, Readability (Read Now), Readability (Read Later), StumbleUpon, HootSuite, Blogger, Printer Friendly, SEND to READER, Email, and Google Translate
  • Custom Sharing: Easily add a Custom Share option for most other services. (See below.)
  • Share from Any Device: Newly redesigned user experience works flawlessly on all your devices (desktop, laptop, tablets).
  • Share Anything: Gather all your sources of information and data on one dashboard and broadcast it to all your favorite services. Share news feeds, apps or even full tabs!

Got a favorite service that’s not listed? Using our Custom Share option, you can share to most other services. Find the URL to share something to your service (from a Share button or bookmarklet) and simply replace the title and URL with {title} and {url}.

Here are some examples:

Name: Custom WordPress
URL: http://www.<yourWordpressDomainName>.com/wp-admin/press-this.php?u=${url}&t=${title}&s=${source}&v=2

Name: Pinterest
URL :${url}

Name: Add to Any

Name: Share this

Name: Google Bookmarks

Name: Remember the Milk

It’s actually pretty easy to add almost any service this way. Try it now on your dashboard. As usual, feel free to drop us line or share your own Custom Shares in the comments below!

Before adding new stuff, how about fixing ‘black mamba” and other dark themes please. (They are all white, not dark.)
It’s been noted on twitter a number of time, but noboby does anything about it
(I’m not on twitter, so had to post here.
Please look into this . . . thanks

It’s not a bug, it’s a design choice to switch all dark backgrounds (incl. on Black Mamba theme) to light. The customisation tool now reflects this by removing the ability for users to pick a background-color setting.

You should have announced this instead of having everyone wondering what was going on. I thought up to now it was a bug. And why did you make this change?

    How about one click sharing?
Select services where I want to share it and one click would share on all selected services if Netvibes has connection data to those services.

I’ll forward your suggestion to our team. In the meantime, since our new share system is open, you can use services like Buffer to do that (

Yeah I know there are also some mobile app that could do that too.
Anyway I am not the one that would need this function so much, but I know people that need it and use it already.

It would be great to have upload support for dynamic themes to the Ecosystem also dynamic themes for the public page.

Well, I think there’s just a few people who would like to share to all service at once

I’m not happy with it . . . I have some eye problems and the dark was much easier to see, . . .but thank you for your reply

    Best service! Thanks!

Sorry — I can’t figure out where to post this.

Netvibes isn’t letting me add new feeds. I transferred from GR a while ago, everything’s great. When I try to add a new feel, I enter the URL of the new site, or the feed url if I have it, then Netvibes gives me a window with options to preview, and a green bar that says something like “add to my list.” But that green bar does absolutely nothing. No response whatsoever to clicks.
