Netvibes dashboards enable you to aggregate and analyze the data that matters most to your business. Automate alerts and actions from the dashboard to help your business respond immediately to critical data insights. For example, you can share live dashboards across your company or share insights on-demand using PushMail and PushWeb automated reports.
Product Updates
With Social Analytics (available for Netvibes Premium dashboards), you can easily explore your social data and generate custom charts in just a few clicks. Answer questions like: What is being said about my brand online? Do people like our new product?
Today we have added new Twitter analytic functions to Netvibes, enabling you to measure more metrics and better understand what is being said and shared, by whom, about any topic.
Universal Search is now more powerful than ever for slicing data and discovering valuable insights. With our new enhancements for Twitter, you can now filter out Tweets and analyze the relationship between tweets, retweets and replies to help improve your social strategy.
This is particularly useful for drilling down into your audiences, so you can get more info about the resonance of Tweets and perform more accurate searches. For instance, you can easily analyze your campaign performance and compare Owned Media (your own corporate Twitter accounts) versus Earned Media (organic tweets generated by other users).
In addition, Twitter conversations are now beautifully showcased in a new design for Netvibes’ easy-to-use native reader.
Here are some sample questions you can easily answer with your Netvibes Premium dashboard in a few clicks:
We’re continually improving our dashboard features to help you get more done with Netvibes. Today we launched our newly improved Universal Search functionality for VIP and Premium users. Let’s explore what’s new.
With Universal Search, you can instantly find whatever you’re looking for by typing in simple keywords or drilling down by facets, including language, sentiment, geographical location and more. Beginning today, you can also use Universal Search to locate apps on the dashboard. To try it, simply search for a keyword, such as the app name or a word contained in the app. Netvibes’ Universal Search bar will auto-return results as you type. Results are automatically divided into categories to help you home in on your target, whether you’re looking for an app, an RSS feed, an article, or something else.
For example, when we search for the keyword “Weather,” Universal Search returns many results across different categories:
Article: “Winter weather slams the east coast”
App: Weather
Feed: The Weather Channel
If we want to see only feeds containing the keyword “weather,” we can type in that facet using Universal Search. For example, if we search for “Feed:weather”, the dashboard returns these results:
Welcome to the new Netvibes.com: Dashboard Intelligence for everyone

With an all-in-one master dashboard for your digital life, you can save time online, increase your productivity, stay informed about any topic, control your smart devices and much more.
Here’s what’s new for individual users at Netvibes.com:
New wizard: create dashboards on the fly
When you sign up for a new account at netvibes.com, you will see our new wizard that makes it simple to set up your own dashboard. Pick your library(ies) of sources you want to track, enter any keywords of special interest, and click “Dashboard it!” In just a few clicks, you will have a custom dashboard tailored to your interests that can track and analyze any topic. Currently the new wizard is available for new Netvibes accounts only but will soon be expanded to all existing Netvibes users.
Map where news is taking place with Netvibes’ new Geolocation Facet
Netvibes dashboards deliver the real-time intelligence you need to monitor everything that matters to your business. With our newly launched Geolocation search facet, you can now visualize on a map where news is happening or where conversations are taking place.
With just a click from the dashboard, you can instantly create a new map to see where any topic is being discussed. The map data reflects all of the locations that are mentioned in the relevant articles, but not where the articles are published. For example, an article about the Russian president’s trip to Iran published by the New York Times would be counted as a hit both for “Russia” and for “Iran,” but not “New York.” This level of categorization is important because it provides a comprehensive overview of all locations involved while delivering reliable, trustworthy results.
Netvibes Premium for Team makes collaboration easy. By introducing Private tabs, Netvibes will give you even more control over your content: You will soon be able to decide to share or hide content from the rest of your team.
Quick background
When Netvibes for Team users access their team’s dashboard for the first time, they retrieve a copy of the Master dashboard. They can then customize their own copy as they wish without altering the content of the Master dashboard. Only users granted with the Publisher role can connect to the Master Dashboard and make permanent changes to it.
However, Publishers may want to keep some content located on the Master Dashboard private. Until now, they have been able to hide tabs from copies but their content was still indexed and displayed in the Analytics and Tracked Topic results of the dashboard.
To give you more control over what you share, we are planning to introduce Private Tabs next fall.

Trend-Tracing Triggers: The Next Evolution in Business Analytics Automation
With Trend-Tracing Triggers, you can create Potions based on historical data and predictive analytics. Go beyond what just happened; automate business actions based on what is currently happening or what is forecast to happen in the future.
Potions (available for all Netvibes dashboards) make it simple to program interactions between your apps, data and connected devices. [To learn more about Potions, please visit our FAQ page].
Business professionals often use Netvibes Potions to automate decision-making based on data insights. For example: When monthly web traffic exceeds 1M, then send an email to the CEO. Our enterprise customers tell us they love Potions because they always know immediately when something important has just happened.
With new Trend-Tracing Triggers, Netvibes takes BI automation to the next level. Instead of just triggering when something happens, Potions can now analyze past data and use predictive analytics to identify current trends and predict the future. This means you can automate actions based on complex data patterns. For example: When monthly web traffic increases by more than 10% for five days in a row, then email the latest charts and schedule a team meeting.
Only Netvibes dashboards allow you to custom-pick the sources you want to listen to, using your Personal Corpus. Today we are pleased to take source-curation a step further with the launch of Shared Libraries, now available for all Netvibes dashboards. Libraries are customized lists of sources that are searchable, shareable and Potion-ready to help you track and analyze precisely what matters to your business.
All Netvibes Premium users can create their own custom Libraries; simply select the sources you want to include in your Library. These Libraries can then be shared with and used by all Netvibes users–including Basic and VIP users. (Compare all features here). Shared Libraries retain the same sources included in the original publisher’s Library. That means when you share a Library, all of your Library-subscribers will see the same list of articles. For example, if your Premium dashboard has 12 months of AutoSave articles and you create a Library, then all of the AutoSave articles will appear in your Shared Library.
Libraries can contain an unlimited number of sources and articles and are continuously updated. PR agencies can create separate Libraries to track different types of media, such as: “Tier-1 Business Press,” “Trade Press,” “Developer blogs,” etc. Professional users may want to share Libraries with colleagues and peers as way of spreading knowledge and establishing thought leadership–for example: “Top IoT blogs” or “Big Data publications.”
New Analytics Feature: 'Compare To' Anytime in the Past, Instantly
Netvibes dashboards allow you to track and analyze your most important business metrics over time. Today we are announcing a new feature for Netvibes analytics: the ‘Compare To’ tool. With just a click, you can instantly compare the charts on your dashboard to any period of time in the past.
1. Select a chart to ‘Compare To’ the past
Here’s a chart showing the number times ‘Car X’ was mentioned online in the last 30 days (Oct. 17 – Nov. 16, 2015). Let’s say we want to compare this data with the previous 30 days (Sept. 17 – Oct. 17, 2015).
