Take Your Dashboards Anywhere with the New Netvibes App for iOS

Your favorite dashboard is now available in the Apple app store. Today we launched the new Netvibes app for iPhone, iPad and iPod so you can always keep your important content close at hand. (Don’t worry, Android fans, your app is coming soon).

The Netvibes app for iOS is free and delivers all the things you love about Netvibes, perfectly sized for your i-device. Access your dashboards from anywhere to see what’s happening now or catch up on your reading while on the go.

A few of our favorite features:

  • Auto-sync: Dashboard activity is synced across all devices. Read an article on your iPhone, and it automatically appears as read on your desktop and iPad.
  • Offline access (iPhone only): Netvibes caches your content so you can read your favorite blogs and articles anywhere, even on a plane.
  • In-app browser: Read articles directly within the Netvibes app. Click on any article, read it, and simply swipe back to return to the dashboard. There is no need to open a separate browser.

For more details, read the press release here.

Download the new Netvibes mobile app and tell us what you think!

In one word “At last & thank you so much” !

Ok, it’s not 1 word but it deserves a little bit more 😉

Well, I installed the app about five minutes ago and can already see it was worth the long wait — not. The UI means you can’t browse articles but must select pages, then widgets, then see headlines. I can’t adjust the size of the text (really?). I don’t see graphics, which I use not only for information and eye candy, but to indicate which widgets I place more importance on. Bottom line question: What is the big advantage of this app over the mobile Netvibes website?

Are you planning to release also Apps for Android and Windows Phone?

  • Reply Diego Joachin June 13, 2014 at 6:14 pm

Why did it took so long? Have been looking for this APP almost three years ago when I bought my first iPad.

Please develop an app for Windows Phone. There is a growing number of users for WP8!

I’m really glad you’ve finally released this. That was the only weakness of Netvibes to my eyes. Now I can recommend Netvibes even more around me.

Congratulations to all the team, the app is great.

    Finally!

What I wouldn’t have had to have had this a few years ago. So nice to be able to switch back from Feedly.

Hi, please make it available on iOS 6 for iPhone as well!

    Sincerely,

Yes! Please make it available for iOS 6. My older iPod can’t upgrade to 7.

It’s great having the dashboard on my iPhone and iPad but the bookmarks don’t open and I can’t see their web addresses. Unfortunately, this is my primary use for Netvibes (bookmarks stored in the cloud and accessible across all platforms).

YES!! Thank you!! I love it!!!!!

Can”t use because it can’t use LastPass.

App is nice, but my issue is still that the amount of info is minimal. Most things, like BBC, show just a the tag line of the article. So….what if I want to read it? There’s nothing more there and no way to either pull it in, or go to the website.

Apps like Zite are superior in the way they handle data and sites.

But it is a huge step forward and I look forward to updates and increased functionality. Great job netvibes.

Blah! iOS 7 and higher only wtf

  • Reply Laurent June 15, 2014 at 4:23 pm

iOS 7 only. What about the low tech people who can’t afford to upgrade their iPhones and are stuck on iOS 6?
