    I’m all for the standardization of widget platforms, but with so many platforms out there (and under development) I think it may be tricky to support them all, especially since most of the are constantly changing.

    I love standarts and open-source projects (and my girl friend too…), and I love this UWA, I think that, even if Netvibes is not open source, Netvibes is open to other and standarts.

    I will maybe move from google reader to Netvibes, and if a day I want to move to another widget manager, it will be possible with the UWA.

    With Netvibes I’m free! (So maybe I will not move away from Netvibes ;!)

    The other feature I’m really interested in is the USB disk sharing capability. We have a local linux server with RAID and samba shares which does us well for network storage, but I get the feeling that having the option of a dedicated Mac OS formatted drive shared on the network could be really handy. Especially with the small person using her Mac a lot more

    So cool! I recently watched a video about wii browsers previewing some very cool features so it will be really great if more sites follow Netvibes’s example and and support wii!

    innocent people are being injured. Trying to get it resolved is like dealing with the U.S. government. Worse actually, with the government I’m always able to get feedback and processing times.

    The UWA widgets are supported on the Iphone, but it’s a particular platform and for example there is some issues with iframes and Flash is not supported.

    UWA widgets are rendered through an iframe (like in Netvibes) but the ugly scrollbars that you can see on your regular browser will be nicely handled automatically by the Iphone browser.

    You can’t edit preferences yet (it’s read only).

    when I read an actual feed item – I want to be able to go back to ‘all tabs’ – so it’s simply adding a link to m.netvibes.com/tabs on all pages – both at the top and the bottom of each page
