Following the issue we had this Wednesday we have to schedule a downtime for this Saturday.
This will happen in 2 steps:
- at 9am UTC/GMT (1am PST) we will be offline for 2 hours. During that time we will have to move some databases around and we’ll also use that time to add some new servers to our backend
- at 11am UTC/GMT (3am PST) the site will be back but we’ll have to do a maintenance on our flags database. This means all your dashboards, widgets and feeds will be available but during that time all feeds will show as “unread” even if you already read them
Everything should be back to normal at 1pm UTC/GMT (5am PST).
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you for the advanced warning. Keep up the good work. Love netvibes.
Oh Chris… do you expect them to warn us afterwards?
Please don’t do a ‘Google’ and lose any data. My data is critical to me… whimper 😉
This is why I requested the ability for people to backup their own data to their computer.
Great Job. Really like NetVibes!!
what time will this be on the east coast of Australia?
@Jen: The times they’ve given link to timeanddate.com. Anyway, the times for Melbourne (and hence Sydney, etc.) are: 2 hours maintenance from Sat 8:00pm, online but with all feeds showing ‘unread’ from 10:00pm, then everything back to normal at midnight Sat-Sun.
Great Job.
Is this maintanace still in progress? I cannot access my page so far…
@unqtom Hello, eveything should be fine now.
Yepp, everything is fine now. 😉
haha 😀 thanks bro
Thank you for the advanced warning
The mobile version of Netvibes hasn’t been functioning for nearly a week now. The list of tabs loads but when I click to view a tab it times out every time on every tab.
@#13 fully agree i do have problems with iphone.netvibes.com and m.netvibes.com – and i use netvibes to read my news every morning and evening.
best regards kay
I have the same issue as #13 and #14 with m.netvibes.com, timeout on every tab. It happens regardless of the browser I use, too, so it would seem to be server side.
On a separate note, many of my feeds in the regular version are not loading properly today.
After the last maintenance have lost all my feeds, so I only have names but not the channel 🙁
In the RSS reader, on the left column, i cant seem to be able to distinguish already read items from new ones. The style of things is all messed up and greenish. What happened to that old RSS feed reader ?
Whatever Netvibes is doing, everything is just getting worse. Half of my feeds aren’t updating, clicking on an individual link opens the website (which is NOT my setting) but leaves a blank screen on the Netvibes page, and I can’t clear my feeds of unread links. I’ve loved NV since I first found it, and I’ve been understanding about all this maintenance and upgrades, but this is really trying my patience.
No sweat.
Same problem with netvibes on my iPhone. None of the pages load apart from the first screen with my tabs on. Any idea when it will be working again?
Everything should be back to normal
