Quick Look: Redesigned Apps

Following our New Reader release, we’re happy to announce that our Apps are also getting a refresh.

iblogpost_newsettings

As you can see in the picture above, the tools panel has been re-imagined and optimized for all platforms, including touch devices, to allow quicker access to settings and sharing. We’ve also redesigned Social Apps for our Premium subscribers, but more on this in a forthcoming post.

Remarks or questions? Let us know in the comments below or on our UserVoice page.

Hello Netvibes team :-) Thanks for the improvements.

That said, the widget preview for RSS feeds still doesn’t work.
(It either doesn’t show up at all or the frame pops up but no data is loaded)
Would you mind looking into that? It’s pretty annoying.
    Thanks

When you bring an app to its whimpering knees so it no longer functions properly, it may be a “redesign” to you but it’s headache to a user. The “To Do” list expanded but no longer contracts, the “Reminders from God” widget no longer loads dynamic data and refreshing the mail now takes two clicks instead of one. Not everybody has or wants a touch screen!

This is all well and good and all, but now EVERY app on my dashboard is broken. Only my RSS feeds and the Flickr app are working. Everything else either has a “_____ is loading…” or is just completely messed up.

Pls allow user the option to return to previous design. For those used to the previous design, your new design is confusing, poorly laid out and non-user friendly.

Could you tell me how to show the seek bar of podcast?
In the current design, because of the absence of the seek bar,
it is not possible to listen to a podcast from the point which I want to start.

I am not able to change settings in app mode after this latest update. Tried doing this on different computers using different browsers. None of them allow me to change settings. Created new netvibes account and it allows me to do that, but not in my old account. Anyone else is having this problem? Really don’t want to migrate all my data now..
