Netvibes updates the digg module

We have upgraded the digg module to better support digg v3. Also, it will now auto refresh, allow you to browse more stories. And it loads faster.

Finally, we provide some bugfixes for these parts of netvibes:

  • module closing;
  • keyboard navigation (make sure it is turned on in Settings);
  • http://del.icio.us;
  • module subscription;
  • mini API;
  • tab reordering.

If a problem occurs, please contact us to send a feedback message.

    The new Digg update looks great. As stated by Scotty Bones, whether you have the "Open Links in New Page" selected or not; when clicking on an article, it loads in the same page and leaves Netvibes.

    Not trying to sound rude, but why do you all keep coming out with these new modules when even some basic RSS features don’t exist, like mark unread (individual entries), flagging, and saving of messages. These modules are all pretty cool, but basic features should come first. I mean, even the most basic rss reader lets you mark stuff unread.

    I really like the look and feel of the digg module, but I prefer the way I can preview the article when I click on it if I just specify digg’s rss feed. Is there anyway that behavior could be added to the digg module as an option or something?

  23. #23 | John Maxwell | August 6th, 2006 at 04:45

    I’m dumb!

    Not exactly a bug report but a feature suggestion: how ’bout instead of ‘prev.’ and ‘next’, the module should have ‘newer’ and ‘older’ buttons?
