I actually like the Halloween theme a lot and I think you should create a black/silver theme that is non-holidayish. Looks great though!

  2. #2 | pihug12 | October 28th, 2006 at 20:28

    Looks great. =)

  3. #3 | Escaper | October 28th, 2006 at 21:49

I personally hope that you keep this theme active, because I’d like to use it permanently

  4. #4 | Steamhawk | October 28th, 2006 at 21:58

Hey folks, some icons on the tabs looks nasty with the Halloween theme.

  5. #5 | Escaper | October 28th, 2006 at 22:00

that because they are in GIF format, those white borders is because they chose transparancy for a white background, so these icons are not suitable for darker backgrounds, they should use a different set of icons for that.

Aww @ the cute little spiderwebs on the editing portion of the modules! Thank you for this theme, you guys are so great to us. :D

I really miss a feature to "reset color", so you get the default theme color.

If you change the color of a feed manually and then change skins the color remains to whatever you set it to. So you can’t give control of the color back to the skin so to say.

To use this skin I had to remove and re-add all my feeds because I had manually changed the color of them.

New skins looks fantastic though, thanks a lot for all the good stuff that is netvibes. :)

This is like really different from the themes before considering the contrast.

Will you be keeping his after Halloween or getting rid of it?

  11. #11 | marv | October 29th, 2006 at 05:18

Please keep the new themes coming, variety is a good thing!

p.s. once Halloween is over this theme with just a black background would be cool, thanks!

  12. #12 | gtox | October 29th, 2006 at 10:50

love the darkness of the theme, please create more black/grey themes, instead of all the white/light ones

  13. #13 | DataBitz | October 29th, 2006 at 10:59

I love this theme, the bright/dark colors are the best part. Be good to have some more themes like this.

  14. #14 | eijk | October 29th, 2006 at 13:01

Only pity is that the nice top background picture with the horizon can hardly be seen when one has more than a few tabs…

Wicked! I’m just getting over the excitement about the Firefox Halloween theme, and now this?! I need to go and harass some people to burn energy.

  17. #17 | Stéphane | October 30th, 2006 at 13:52

I love it! Hope there will be more coming up for Xmas and other events !
PS Maybe you should put you favicons in PNG format so that there will be no transparency problems as Steamhawk noticed.
PPS I don’t see the cobwebs Amy noticed ?!

  18. #18 | Stéphane | October 30th, 2006 at 13:53

OK Sorry I *do* see the cobwebs now.

Netvibes has been really very poorly in the US, and I’m a bit sad to see things like Halloween themes being added, but nothing on the slowness and not-loadingness mentioned on the blog. Are you guys aware of the problems? Are you working on a fix?

  27. #27 | Jean | November 3rd, 2006 at 22:26

by the way are you going mobil?

  28. #28 | Yoann | November 5th, 2006 at 21:16

This theme is nice. I think you should create more graphicals themes.

  29. #29 | Jean | November 5th, 2006 at 23:59

My post about going mobile was just a joke due to the news on this topic!

More seriously, I am sure you know http://www.yourminis.com . I think there "multiple tabs view" is great. Would it be possible to add it to netvibes?

  30. #30 | Mark | November 6th, 2006 at 07:02

This is a great fun holiday theme. ….plus I have found I like the level of contrast provided by the dark background better than any of the other themes. I hope you keep this active or provide something similar in a standard theme.

  31. #31 | Olivier SC | November 9th, 2006 at 22:53

Thank you very much, I just do it !

  32. #32 | ScottyWZ | November 11th, 2006 at 21:15

  34. #34 | Sally | November 17th, 2006 at 17:16

    2. when the user will be free to skin netvibes????

I find this theme the most readable of all the available themes! Would it be possible to update it to remove all Halloween pictures, but keep the same color scheme?

  38. #38 | jared | March 19th, 2007 at 20:43

this is my current theme, i really like it – how come there aren’t more like this? the others i have seen seem so generic compared to this one – even though it’s not halloween i like this one because it looks so much richer than the others…

The UWA widgets are supported on the Iphone, but it’s a particular platform and for example there is some issues with iframes and Flash is not supported.

UWA widgets are rendered through an iframe (like in Netvibes) but the ugly scrollbars that you can see on your regular browser will be nicely handled automatically by the Iphone browser.

You can’t edit preferences yet (it’s read only).

when I read an actual feed item – I want to be able to go back to ‘all tabs’ – so it’s simply adding a link to m.netvibes.com/tabs on all pages – both at the top and the bottom of each page
