The next Netvibes: Wasabi Edition

Back in July, we revealed a few details about our work in progress on a new product and a breakthrough backend for the next Netvibes generation. Our goal was to make feed reading faster and easier.
Since then, not only we’ve been giving final touches to the architecture, but we have also designed a full-fledged feed [...]

Design and share your own themes

A few months ago, we opened our labs and introduced Theme Designer. This application allows anyone to rapidly create new themes the easy way, simply by clicking and picking color and design options. Today, we’re happy to announce that Theme Designer is the first project to graduate from Netvibes Labs and is now available for [...]

Netvibes Introduces New Drag-and-Follow Facebook, MySpace and Twitter Widget

With the rapid growth of real-time content and activity feeds from sources like Facebook and Twitter, many people are struggling to keep track of multiple friends and interests that change day-to-day. Security software mistakenly categorize Netvibes as malicious

Some of you reported to us that Netvibes was recently blocked by Trend Micro, McAfee, Websense, FortiGuard and some other pieces of software. It looks like Netvibes has been identified by mistake as a possible threat because of a new IE 0day exploit and we’ve contacted the software editors to fix it.

Discover new widgets with our recommendations

That’s more than anyone can use, so we’ve been working on a recommendation engine that will help you find what’s interesting for you.

A few months ago, we added the possibility to have “transparent” widgets. Making a widget transparent means that you can see the background image through the [...]

Netvibes is up again

As planned, we’re back on track after a 3-Hour database maintenance. This update will allow us to roll out new features in the future. Thank you for your patience!

The service will be inaccessible on Thursday, May 14th 2009 at 3AM UTC (i.e. Wednesday at 8PM in California, check the time and date for your timezone).
