Hello Canada ! The Canadian version of Netvibes is up

We are happy to announce the release of the canadian local version.
Canadian users can now use Netvibes in their own language and access local content through the “Add content” side bar. First time visitors from Canada will automatically see the local version. (To change your language and local content, click on “settings” at the top of your Netvibes page)

We send a huge thank to our Canadian localizator who worked a lot to make it happens, especially Eric Desfonds

WoW thank you Netvibes. Didn’t think I would see a Canada version. Most sites think since we are in North America the American version would be alright for Canada.
You guys are great. Been using Netvibes for a while now and love it.
So, once again, from a Canadian, thank you very much, it is really appreciated.

‘Canadian users can now use Netvibes in their own language’? Canadians speak English and French, same as Americans, the British, and the French… We don’t have ‘our own language’. Just please, -PLEASE-, do not use the stupid stereotypes and call it ‘Canadian language’. No one I know says ‘aboot’, it’s more like somewhere between ‘about’ and ‘a boat’.
Not that I think you’d use the stereotypes per se, but…you never know with people…

OmegaX123,
I think the text is automatic… They have a lot of new localizations to describe.

I don’t know why (I didn’t change anything). I added 8 feeds and the weather module… and now it’s really slow. I think I might switch over to Pageflakes if this doesn’t get fixed soon. thkx.
thanks again
