For the second year, netvibes has been selected as a finalist for Webware 100 by editors of Cnet and Webware in the Browsing Category. The 100 finalists have been picked among 5,000 eligible entries.

The Webware 100 Awards recognizes the best Web 2.0 sites, services, and applications that are leading the next wave of innovation. Voting will run until March 31. Winners will be announced on April 21, the day before the big Web 2.0 expo opens.

    I’m reluctant to participate in the absence of any NV acknowledgement or comment on Ginger problems. Why vote for something that might only be getting worse?

    Yeh join a beta and complain about bugs and problems and expect them to just disappear ¬_¬ I’ll vote for sure tho.

    You guys must not be on Ginger yet, so I understand your resentful tone. However, in the "You Have Been Upgraded to Ginger" email, the following words appear:

    "we would really appreciate your feedback."

    So STFU if you don’t like my comments, because this is the only venue NV has provided for them.

    ..getting worse ?? I don’t think so, Netvibes is the next generation of the web not only 2.0 but the 3.0 also, and the Ginger is one of many !

    I have received acknowledgments to the problems I reported and several have been fixed already. It makes me feel good to be able to give back some of my testing feedback to help the product get better. Makes me feel I am part of this great thing.

    Dear EH or was it Uhh or duhh … you could create a new (temporary) account on old coriander and import your OPML backup and make what ever adjustments you need to survive the beta period…

    thanks for your support, it’s important that you feedback your pb so we can get them fixed. Don’t forget that we started the beta test with a small sample of users and as we expand with diverse use, combinations and browsers we discover new bugs that are most of the time fixed quick. We kepts a lots of ideas and recommendations from our beta tester and we will improve a lots of things to make sure that ginger is fun and easy to use. The all netvibes team is dedicated to make your ginger experience much cooler than the coriander one.
    don’t forget two tips that can help : clear your browser cache and clear your netvibes cache using this url : http://www.netvibes.com/?reset_c... it help solving a lots of issues. If you have a pb, you should definitely start first with this ;) than contact our support.

    I will definitely vote for a service that improves itself with users!
    Support team is great and most of the time, clearing my browser’s cache solve my problem

    @7 Images have been created by our designers and should not be used on your own sites but feel free to use them for your personal use (ie. wallpaper)

    Could you please make thew background image ‘stretch’ over the whole page. Now you get this white strip at the bottom of the website. It kinda screws up the overall look, especially with the dark theme selected.
    Hope you guys understand what I’m talking about.
